On February 26th the first web conference with Dr. Diane Mason in EDLD 5364 Teaching with Technology was scheduled. The first web conference was a challenge because I had a committee meeting for National Education Association in Washington, D.C. The time zone, connection to internet, and attendance in subcommittee meeting caused me to be late for the conference. Once connected, Dr. Mason was discussing questions about the course material, group requirements for the collaborative project, and where to post the material to the e-portfolio or wiki site. She informed the group that when selecting members for a group to find people from their section. It was stated that assignments needed to be posted to our e-portfolios or wiki sites created during EDLD 5306.
Several inquiries about the TK20 were addressed and the link for TK20 was provided to participant during the conference. Dr. Mason informed us that the university is using this system campus wide. The sharing in TK20 will be utilized by shared email addresses and information will be available for up to 7 years to be used for future reference.
